Sally Beauty partnered with OPI and Hello Kitty to launch exclusive nail polish shades celebrating Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary. The challenge was to create a cohesive digital campaign that respected the visual identities and brand standards of all three partners while engaging Sally Beauty’s audience.
I led the creative development across web and email, ensuring that the campaign highlighted the limited-edition anniversary shades while balancing Sally Beauty’s brand, OPI’s polish legacy, and Hello Kitty’s whimsical personality.
I coordinated closely with the OPI team to ensure Hello Kitty’s branding remained intact and playful, while integrating Sally Beauty’s visual and marketing standards. I designed digital experiences that showcased the collection across web and email touchpoints, aligning messaging, visuals, and product presentation across platforms. Through close collaboration and expectation management with both OPI and Sanrio, I ensured the campaign preserved brand integrity for all partners.
The campaign successfully positioned Sally Beauty as the destination for the exclusive Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary collection, engaging customers with playful, on-brand experiences while honoring the legacy of OPI and the iconic charm of Hello Kitty. The collaboration strengthened cross-brand partnerships and delivered a cohesive, multi-channel launch that resonated with audiences.
