Figma Design System

Figma Design System •

Sally Beauty’s creative team was undergoing a major brand refresh with a tight four-month turnaround. The team needed a unified system to streamline workflows and maintain brand cohesion across digital, campaign, and UX channels.

I spearheaded the transition of the creative team from Photoshop to Figma, building a unified design system that maintained brand cohesion and streamlined workflows while supporting a full brand refresh in under four months.

I built a Figma library of reusable components, templates, and core design tokens—colors, typography, spacing, and icons—after auditing existing assets and identifying inconsistencies across channels. I partnered with the UX/UI team to ensure brand cohesion across all customer touchpoints and trained designers on new workflows that aligned with the rebrand rollout. The transition to Figma unified creative production and streamlined workflows, enabling designers to deliver assets in nearly half the time.

The new Figma system became a single source of truth for the brand, reducing redundancy, improving collaboration, and setting the stage for scalable creative initiatives. It not only supported the successful rollout of the new brand identity but also transformed how the team produced and delivered design work across channels.
